FrancoMusik Alberta is pleased to announce the 2nd edition of FrancoFusion festival, which will take place on September 11, 2021, from 3:00 pm to midnight at the Cité francophone d'Edmonton. This edition, entitled "Celebration!", will bring together a multitude of music and dance artists from various cultures.
In the program, there will be dance demonstrations and workshops to the sound of our Alberta artists who will present their songs re-orchestrated by our musical directors, Marc Beaudin and Robert Walsh, to make you dance.
Starting at 3:00 pm
- Dance workshops " beginner " Hip Hop (Macha), then Afro Fusion (Ivan Touko) and " Jerusalema " (teacher " surprise ").
- Concert of 2Moods Feat. Renelle Roy for the launch of their 2 tracks. Envol et Crazy.
- Dance workshop "If you can walk, you can dance", developed by Isabelle Rousseau: a beautiful exploration at the heart of the movement/music relationship that will prepare the most engorged hips for the festivities of the rest of the evening.
- Demonstrations and mini workshops of salsa and swing dance.
And many more surprises!
From 7:30 to 12:00 pm
The festival stage will host our featured artists, Marie-Josée Ouimet, Mireille Moquin, Robert Walsh and Max Mendez, accompanied by our band "Fusion".
This "Celebration" edition will be a great opportunity to spend a beautiful and colorful day while supporting our local artists!
